My life right now by Amy Jane

I look at the blog often, but have not really written much myself. So, most of ya'll know about my life but in case you don't, I will give an update.
I live in Logan Utah (2 1/2 hours south of Rexburg and 2 hours north of my home of Pleasant Grove). I just finished the class work for Special Education at Utah State University and will do my student teaching starting mid August at Millville Elementary. In which I graduate in December. YEAH! 6 1/2 years since graduation of high school. Ha!
I am working this summer at a place called BRASC (Bear River Activity and Skills Center). It is a place for people with disabilities. Right now my job is to coordinate and run the summer program for kids ages 9-21. We swim, play at the park, canoe, play with college basketball stars, and lots of other fun stuff. The program started June 15th and I have been working about 9 hour days (if not more). I have been bit, hit, kicked, scratched, yelled at, spit on, and loved. I really do enjoy it. I have cried twice already, but the reasons were because parents were not happy with me. Nothing the kids did. However, it really is exhausting.
Love life? Well, I went on a date Saturday which was the first in three months. I do have lots of male friends, but nobody I am interested in at the moment.
And I think that covers the basics (school, work, and men).

I hope you are all doing well, and thanks for keeping me posted about your lives.

Kelsey, congratulations on the baby boy. Griffey sounds like a great name.
