A recent happening

So, one day for FHE (the 17th of August to be exact), we went boating. I was on a 6 man tube being pulled by a very fast boat. The people on the tube thought it would be fun to play musical chairs and go crazy. I was put into a spot on the tube that I was not fond of and got bumped off. Going into the water, my right knee was extended in such a way that I knew immediately something bad had just happened. Then I skidded on the water about four more times. I got to the beach and tried to turn and my knee kinda popped out. I went to the insta care that night and then to an orthopedic surgeon the next week. The outcome: I tore the ACL and MCL in my right knee. I had surgery on September 3rd and had a rough week. But, I got back to student teaching today and I am very tired. However, I am on the mend and it will be completely healed in around 6 months. Every day is better. I thought I would share this story and some pictures with you instead of starting my student teaching portfolio. I hope you enjoyed.

The first is at the Insta Care when I was still wet and probably still in shock. The second is a picture I just took of my scars, with a lot of tape covering them.

Bummer! The pictures are not uploading. I am so sorry. Then you might be asking, why tell us about them then. Well, I am too lazy to erase what I wrote. And maybe I will be able to put them up later.

DUDE!!!!
I guess you can kiss your knee-modeling job good-bye. I know how completely painful that whole ordeal is and your like " My knee kind of got knocked out of joint and I had this teeny-weenie surgery for it." Talk about a sugar coated story. Well, You have always been pretty strong, maybe it wasn't that bad. I am sorry that you got so busted up. Take it easy and keep us updated on your progress.
Oh and good luck with student teaching, I didn't know that you were doing that already. I watched david go through it and it seems like it can be pretty stressful and time consuming. You'll be awesome, though. Have a good time.
