Time to Catch Up

I am able to check my facebook at work and yesterday when that post was sent out to us to write something on the blog, it reminded me that we actually had a blog! I haven't looked at it for at least a year. So, yesterday and today I spent time at work reading the posts and really enjoying it. I have enjoyed the stories from our life as roommates and from your lives right now. Now I realize that it's my time to let you know what has been happening in my life, since I haven't talked to/seen most of you for a long time. I don't have pictures at work, so I'll have to add them later. . .

As most of you know, I got back from my mission just over 2 years ago (man I am old) and met the man of my dreams last year (we have been married just over a year). He love the outdoors even more than I do and even though we are up for a lot of different types of activities, we of course enjoy going for hikes and camping together. He is even getting his masters and will get a PhD so that he can teach recreation at the university level.

Also, right now I am putting my dear husband through school by working full time at Tahitian Noni. Many of you know that I worked at their call center for about a year. Well, I got a new job that is salary (so I get paid more), which helps John and I pay our bills and pay tuition. My new job is working for their quality assurance department, which isn't very exciting, but at least it's a raise.

So, all in all life is pretty grand. John and I are really blessed and we can't complain. By the way, thanks to Kim and D. for coming to the wedding (Hicken also came to the shower). It's always great to see you guys and get support from you when something big like that happens. You are all great!
